Account Executive

Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the customer management of the project.
  • Ensuring Lessons Learned are properly documented throughout the life of the project including project close-out
  • Be the construction representative of our company with Client. To plan, develop and organize the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that plan.
  • Responsible for implementation of the scope of work as related to construction, fabrication and precommissioning in conformance with project specifications, Scope of Work, and in accordance with the approved Project Schedule.
  • Monitor and report to Client of project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented
  • Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the team members.
  • Review man-hours and duration forecasts to completion for construction and man-hours, duration and manning forecasts for installation durations and resource requirements.
  • Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/work instructions.
  • Adhere to Company and Client Safety Standards and promote safety culture among the ranks.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the Client.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical).
  • 10 to15 year’s relevant experience in the Construction industry.
  • Must possess the relevant construction experience in Client’s projects.
  • Ability to travel as and when required.

Assistant Project Manager

Title: Assistant Project Manager
Reports to: Project Manager
Supports: Project Executives & Project Managers

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

This job description reflects Green Field Construction Group, LLC assignment of essential functions, but does not proscribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. They may be subject to change at any time for reasonable accommodation or any other reason.

Assists Project Managers in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, and quality standards are met. Exercises independent judgment related to day-to-day administration of projects.

  • Assist in obtaining pricing for the development of cost estimates.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of construction project schedules.
  • Assist in bidding process.
  • Assist Superintendent with the implementation of job site safety procedures, notifications, signage, supplies, and equipment.
  • Code all documents for job site filing.
  • Assist Project Manager in communicating effectively with the Owner, coordinating team meetings, completing contract documents, and reviewing consultant and contractor pay applications.
  • Draft meeting agendas for all project meetings.
  • Attend all reoccurring trade meetings and prepare minutes.
  • Assist Project Manager in verifying submittal conformity to specs.
  • Maintain documents control and distribution of the following, distributing and logging each.
    • Request for Information (RFI)
    • Submittals
    • Contract Documents
    • Change Proposals
    • Change Orders
    • Contract Close-out Documentation (i.e. close-out manual)
    • Punch lists Management
  • Manage current and accurate logs for the following:
    • RFI & Submittal Logs
    • Document and Drawings Distribution Log
    • Permit Log
    • RFC & Change Order Log
    • Safety Log
    • Long Lead items
  • Encourage the A/E and contractors to meet deadlines by courteous phone calls and confirming letters/correspondence.
  • Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in coordinating the work of each trade.
  • Review contractor changes and design professional additional service requests.
  • Support Project Manager in the preparation of daily and monthly reports.
  • Assist in the development of punch lists and the follow-up necessary to ensure timely completion of punch list work.
  • Assist Project Manager in obtaining required permits for the work from governmental agencies and in coordinating required inspections by appropriate inspectors.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Skill in the use of computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and project
  • Scheduling applications.
  • Ability to effectively present information in oral, written and graphic form.
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing and evaluating information and in proactively finding solutions for construction projects.
  • Ability to read architectural plans and specifications.
  • CPM scheduling experience and estimating experience preferred.

Estimator

Title: Estimator
Reports to: Project Manager
Supports: Project Manager and Project Executive

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepares cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Project Accountant
Project Manager

Title: Project Manager
Reports to: Project Executive
Supports: Project Executive

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The construction project manager responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management like Project Planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.

Roles:

  • Charting out the project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants.
  • Bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.
  • Implementation of various operations through proper coordination.
  • Development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the construction project from start to finish.
  • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
  • Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking if team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project
  • Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule.
    Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
  • Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
  • Co-ordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors and laborers.
  • Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
  • Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
    Periodic inspection of construction sites.
  • Ensure project documents are complete.
  • Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
  • Serve as a key link with the clients and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto client.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good understanding of MEP building systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.

Site Superintendent

Title: Site Superintendent
Reports to: Project Manager
Supports: Project Manager and Project Executive

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Completes construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Manages sub-contractors by evaluating, monitoring and controlling performance of subcontractors.
  • Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying construction management system improvements.
  • Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
  • Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases; obtaining approvals from the necessary agencies.
  • Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Project Management, Quality Management, Supervision, Managing Profitability, Delegation, Supply Management, Attention to Detail, Quality Focus. Must have 7 to 10 years’ experience in core & shell construction.
